Drove the half hour to Stevenson from Hood River, then lost nearly 2 hours... emptying the truck as I'd 'lost' my mate's camera (found it), putting new straps on the Carve, new lines on the boom, Judy turns up for a chat...

By the time I got out the wind wasn't playing ball. It was up & down like a whore's drawers and not really a great session. Not a lot of planing going on. And like a pratt I'd not 'warmed up' or stretched the day before after a long drive, so I had backache to boot.

The atmosphere, scenery, and warm water helped keep the Rating up...
